PROJECT

Food For Peace Management System (FFPMS) Re-design

SCOPE OF WORK

Enlightened to provide information technology system assistance support for the re-design of USAID's Food for Peace Management System (FFPMS). Food For Peace (FFP) manages the USAID awarded and Title II programs through administration, monitoring and evaluation of food aid delivered to foreign countries and supports targeted emergency relief and development projects across the globe.

DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCTS AND SERVICES PROVIDED TO CUSTOMER

Project management for all activities to ensure that the project remained on time, on scope, on quality and on contract.
FFP was provided a technology review of FFP systems and recommended improvements for FFP's future business processes tool. This was followed up with complete documentation following the Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (FEAF).
FFP was provided complete system and information security guidance per NIST and FISMA best practices, and an alternative analysis of Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software products to support FFP's business needs.

OUTCOME/VALUE/BENEFIT TO CUSTOMER

By providing the above services, the administration processes of USAID's Title II Program were streamlined, and FFP received system analysis and implementation guidance to support FFP's needs. The final recommended solutions adhere to presidential transparency and accountability objectives, and allow USAID to focus on and be more responsive to food insecurity within vulnerable populations in over 150 countries.
