New York State Disbursement Unit (NY SDU) and EZ Pass State Disbursement Unit (NY EZPass)

SCOPE OF WORK

Enlightened provides staffing and management services to the NY SDU and EZPass processing center.

DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCTS AND SERVICES PROVIDED TO CUSTOMER

Enlightened, in partnership with ACS, Inc., provides mail room services to process hundreds of thousands child support payments, benefits and correspondence related to NY Child Support Payments and Benefits programs on a monthly basis.

Enlightened has expanded their role in support of the New York state tax payers to support the processing of the EZPass commuter payments. This center handles additional tens and even hundreds of thousands of EZPass payments and correspondence from consumers and employers that must be sorted and scanned for expedition of payment processing following New York state accounting standards.

OUTCOME/VALUE/BENEFIT TO CUSTOMER

New York taxpayers realized cost reduction and expedition of child support payment processing which better supports the financial stability for custodial parent recipients and impacted children.
New York tax payers also realized the benefit of streamlined EZPass payment processing system which is decongesting the toll roads and providing New Yorkers and tourists with a better commuter experience.
