ENLIGHTENED AWARDED CONTRACT TO PROVIDE IT SUPPORT TO USAID

WASHINGTON (July 14): Enlightened, Inc. ("Enlightened"), a leading provider of Information Technology (IT) consulting services, announced today announced today it has been awarded a 12 month contract with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to provide management consulting services in support of the Food for Peace Management System (FFPMS) Re-design project.

Food for Peace (FFP) is a program that provides food aid to foreign countries and supports targeted emergency relief and development projects across the globe. The FFPMS tracks and manages budgets and the supply chain management of food distribution under this program. Enlightened will be tasked with redesigning USAID's FFPMS to enhance information sharing capability, enforce systems security, monitor and report on critical information. In addition, Enlightened will assist in streamlining USAID's workflow and data collection process in order to expedite the program review and approval processes.
